Our Story.
VodTalk began in 2020 as an independent talk-show and community news platform. From day one, we wanted to do more than just broadcast stories, we wanted to train and empower the next generation of storytellers.
Since then, we have trained hundreds of young people in presenting, journalism, reporting, hosting, camera work, and production. Our programmes don’t just teach media skills, they build confidence, make young people employable, and give them a real voice in their community.
As experienced media professionals, we saw a growing problem: many young people were becoming addicted to gaming, stuck in unproductive social media use, or pulled towards gangs, drugs and antisocial behaviour. We knew something had to change.
Today, VodTalk Academy CIC continues this mission combining professional media training with community development, and turning passion into pathways for the future.
That is why we started this project to provide a positive, creative outlet for youth, women and unemployed people. We created an environment where they can enjoy learning, express themselves, and discover new opportunities.
